“We Can Do It!”

The 1940’s was a decade of accomplishment. Though this decade was full of war, hatred, sorrow, and despair, the American people, and people from countries around the world rallied together in order to overcome difficult obstacles. The 1940’s was the decade of atomic bombs, Rosie the Riviter, victory gardens, The Lone Ranger, microwave ovens, WWII, and plastic. It was the decade of triumph and a decade of pulling through the tough times. It was the decade where camaraderie was formed and people stated, “We Can Do It!”
